Low Loss RF Cable Assembly

The Cable Loss mainly come from the conductor, the dielectric and braid. As frequency rises, a silver plated conductor and silver plated braid will significantly lower the cable loss, as the current mainly go through the outer skin(skin effect). The dielectric will absorb some energy, a Foam PTFE will help lower the loss.
The thicker the cable, the lower loss will be, but it will add the weight.
